SA celebrates LGBTQ community in new magazine

The San Antonio community celebrated the launch of “Out in SA,” the city’s first LGBTQ magazine on Saturday with an incredible brunch. Inside the Southwest School of the Arts, attendees enjoyed delicious food and drinks like “The Chile Boy” from the Brooklynite, Duck “Barbacoa” tacos from Amaya’s Tacos, and free makeup and hair touchups from 22 Salon and Spa.

The event included free mimosas and a make-your-own Bloody Mary Bar, where I learned that I make the world’s worst Bloody Mary.

Chef Robbie Nowlins and the Citrus at Hotel Valencia team served up chocolate covered bacon sprinkled with waffle crumbs

Editor Elaine Wolf thanks the community for coming out to the magazine’s launch party

Attendees enjoyed a sneak peek of the production “La Cage aux Follies,” now playing at the Woodlawn Theatre

Stop by downtown coffeeshops and restaurants to pick up the latest issue of Out In SA, a welcome addition to the San Antonio publishing community!
